Early layout sketch of the exhibit. Originally, the Trilobite and Ammonite were on walls adjacent to one another.
a quick study of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. I used this as a way to organize what modular pieces I would begin to construct, as well as help me scope my layout.

Added extra fossils to the walls of the museum using CrazyBump to generate normal maps for various ancient ocean creatures.

Prehistoric Marine Exhibit
My final project of my Junior year at SCAD. One quarter after learning Zbrush, I decided that creating some sort of skull/fossil would be a good way of stretching my muscles. Everything in the environment was sculpted and textured by myself. This file contains images of my main hero asset "The Dunkleosteus" and two other fossils of a Trilobite and an Ammonite.
This project was made using: Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, UVLayout Headus, Unreal Engine, CrazyBump and 3D Coat
